the Elk Medicine Necklace

An experimental piece made from a piece of polished elk antler that feels organic and powerful. It has a gentle weight to it without being too heavy. It carries the energy of strength, patience, and endurance… the medicine of the elk. 

***Brass will patina with time and wear creating a unique contrast to the shine of the sterling silver. The more you wear brass, the more patina you get. The more you wear your silver it will tarnish less. The more often you wear your new piece you will get the best out of both metals. 

+ Hand forged heavy gauge brass pendant with hand cut and polished elk antler set in reclaimed sterling silver with  reclaimed sterling silver bail. Elk track pendant is hand forged and hand stamped reclaimed sterling silver.

+ Brass antler pendant is 1” long from top of bail to bottom of pendant and 11/16” wide at widest point. Elk track pendant is ¾” long from top of bail to bottom of pendant and ½” wide at widest point.

+ 2mm sterling silver bead chain is 30” long with a 15” drop 

+ 16, 18, 20, and 24 inch sterling silver bead chains available upon request

+ Hand fabricated by me start to finish using hand tools
