the Northern Flicker Necklace

I made this necklace to honor one of my favorite birds, the Northern Flicker. The bead colors I chose represent the colorful feathers of this special bird that is considered good luck to have around your home and yard. They are good signs, good protectors, and bring happiness and healing, and it is my hope that this talisman brings you all these same blessings when you wear it.  

+ Hand-beaded with a mixture of Italian and Czech glass beads with spiny oyster shell accent beads, and a carved bone feather pendant. Beaded on a waxed thread closed with a waxed knot under a handcrafted reclaimed sterling silver bead.

+ Bead strand is 26”  long with a 13” drop 

+ Bone pendant is 2 ⅛” long and ¾” wide at the widest point
