the Harvest Moon Ring

This Willow Creek Jasper stone has a soft white and grey moonlight sky over what looks to me like fields below. I saw the harvest moon in this stone. I made it to honor that full moon closest to the autumn equinox and the change of seasons when we harvest the work of the year internally and externally. A beautiful reminder of the autumn season and the gratitude the idea of harvest brings to mind for all we have in our lives. 

+Heavy gauge half dome reclaimed sterling silver ring band with hand forged rustic reclaimed sterling silver moon on the underside of the band. Willow creek Jasper stone set in reclaimed sterling silver on a copper backplate with a second heavy gauge reclaimed sterling silver backplate.   

*** Copper will naturally tarnish with regular wear, developing a beautiful patina over time. Sterling silver does the opposite, the more you wear it the less it will tarnish, or need polished. Regular wear will keep the silver on your new ring looking bright and shiny, while the copper darkens, and a unique contrast takes shape between the two metals.
