the Ponderosa Necklace

The Ponderosa Necklace is a love offering to the Ponderosa Pine. On warm days their bark perfumes the forest with the sweet smell of vanilla, or butterscotch. During stick season when the mountainsides are tan, grey and dreary, they remain a visual reprieve of green through the long winter months. Hand forged to be reminders of what it feels like to be among the pines. 

+ Handcrafted heavy gauge reclaimed sterling silver and Sonoran gold turquoise pendant

+ Wabi-sabi patina and texture on both sides.

+ Hand forged from re-claimed silver scrap metal 

+ Sonoran Gold turquoise pendant is ¾” long from top of bail to bottom of pendant and ½” wide at widest point

+ 2mm sterling silver bead chain is 20” long with a 10” drop 

+ 16, 18, 24 and 30 inch sterling silver bead chains available upon request instead of the beaded strand if you prefer.

+ Hand fabricated by me start to finish using hand tools
