When I finally acknowledged, and claimed the identity of being a butch lesbian it was a turning point moment for me. It allowed me to present myself to the world in the way that felt most authentic to me, it allowed me to be myself completely. It’s something I ran from for a long time, and I tried to maintain a more feminine look for many years because of how I saw butches looked down upon, even though I always found butch women beautiful, and recognized myself in their energy and appearance.

I finally feel proud of who I am as a butch woman, and being able to express that in whatever ways feel true to my soul. I made this piece for my fellow butches to remind you (and myself), that butch is beautiful and this world needs each one of us. 

+ Handcrafted heavy gauge reclaimed sterling silver pendant on a sterling silver bead chain. Wabi-sabi patina and texture on both sides.

+ Hand stamped word BUTCH on pendant

+ Butch pendant is ⅞” long from top of bail to bottom of pendant and 7/16” wide at widest point

+ Sterling silver bead chain is 24” long with a 12” drop 

+ 16, 18, 20 and 30 inch sterling silver bead chains available upon request if you prefer a different length  

+ Hand fabricated by me start to finish using hand tools
